Hello and welcome to another episode of Now Showing! For this episode we take flight with the third entry into the J.J. Abrams reboot franchise, Star Trek Beyond. While all the initial trailers and marketing for the film left quite the sour taste in our mouths, both Jake and myself came away pleasantly surprised with this new Trek. Although it isn't the Star Trek many long time fans were wishing for and there are still plenty of things to complain about (which we do quite a lot of), we believe both old and new fans alike should come away pleased. Be sure to hear what we had to say before heading out to where no one has gone before.
